What is the Arch Ward Memorial Award?

Trivia Question Answer

The Arch Ward Memorial Award is the original and former name of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award. It was originally called the Arch Ward Memorial Award with its inception in 1962. In 1970 the name was changed to the Commissioner’s Trophy. That name change was reversed in 1985 when it again became the Arch Ward Memorial Award. Finally, in 2002, it was renamed to its current name – the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award.
