The Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, previously simply called the Lady Byng Trophy, is a hockey trophy awarded to the “player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability”. It was first awarded to Frank Nighbor of the Ottawa Senators for the 1924/25 season.
